You may have noticed I have updated the design of my site. The content is all the same. But I have changed the appearance for three reasons:

1. The old design was getting stale.

2. It was built with some really crappy HTML.

3. I wanted to heed my own earlier screed about simplifying web design, facilitating access to information, and eschewing surplusage (thanks to Mark Twain for the advice).

The tricky bit was getting this here blog to use the same template as the rest of the site, being that the blog is Wordpress and I’m not a PHP expert. I think I got it, but if you find anything that doesn’t look right, give me a holler.

I have decide that, as things that interest me for no discernible reason come my way, I need some place to drop those things so that they are not cluttering up the brain I use for eating, walking, making money, and voting.

So that’s that.
